On September 7, 1997 an open house and ribbon cutting ceremony was held for Colonial Memorial Funeral Home. Anthony Perito a licensed funeral director for 22 years and his wife Veronica a third generation funeral director own and operate their family owned funeral home.

Their first location is 396 Main Street Woodbourne New York was built in the 1830’s. This center hall colonial farmhouse in 2005 will be celebrating its 175th anniversary. This beautiful stone house built from the stone from the nearby Neversink River. This building contains 18 rooms, which include 3 chapels a casket room, a large receiving area, a comfortable working, and easily accessible prep room. The home is decorated traditionally with a warm home feeling.

In less than seven years the Perito’s have added two other locations. One is located at 21 Canal Street Ellenville, NY. This facility is a Victorian style building with a large chapel and a comfortable family room and receiving room. The other is Herbert C. Bryant Funeral Home 29 Pearl Street Livingston Manor, NY. This has a very large main chapel and show room. All three locations are located in the beautiful scenic Catskill Mountains of New York.

With all their facilities the Perito’s give personal and professional service to each of their families and even with these modern days they keep with traditional, quaint and comforting service that people need at Colonial Memorial Funeral Home.
